Chef Matt Martin

Chef Matt Martin began his career when he was in high school, washing dishes and plating salads at a hometown bar. Falling in love with the intensity of a professional kitchen, he enrolled at Johnson & Wales University in Providence and earned an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts. During his time in Rhode Island, Matt has cooked at some of the most popular restaurants in the state, most notably a three-year stint working at Persimmon under Chef Champe Spiedel.

He is currently the head chef of the iconic Julian's Restaurant in Federal Hill.
